OnePlus has expanded its Nord smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE6. The smartphone was officially introduced on May 7 and brings several hardware upgrades aimed at users looking for long battery life, smooth gaming performance, and premium display features without entering flagship pricing territory.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and is paired with a dedicated touch reflex chip that the company claims can deliver up to 144FPS gaming support in supported titles. OnePlus is clearly targeting mobile gamers and heavy multimedia users with this setup instead of focusing only on thin design or lightweight form factors.
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 3600 nits peak brightness, and support for HDR content. OnePlus is also marketing the panel with eye-care and PWM dimming technologies for improved long-term viewing comfort.
One of the biggest highlights of the Nord CE6 is its massive 8000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what is currently common in the segment. The company claims the phone can deliver more than two days of usage on a single charge under standard usage conditions. The device supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
On the camera side, the smartphone includes a 50MP main rear camera with OIS, alongside an additional rear sensor setup and a 32MP front camera capable of 4K video recording. OnePlus has also included multiple AI-assisted camera modes and editing features integrated with Google services.
The device comes with durability-focused upgrades as well, including IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
